Simple Human

A wooden stick anchored in a heavy stone supports an iPhone playing a four-minute musical. On its screen, a caveman sits alone in a firelit cave, singing simple questions: Should I leave? Should I stay? What should I keep, and what should I let go? The work combines filmed footage transformed with AI and AI-generated music, merging one of humanity’s oldest imagined ancestors with one of its newest technologies. The installation suggests that while our tools have changed dramatically, the fundamental questions of human existence remain remarkably the same.
