BOSCH FRIDGE

Whenever I see a Bosch fridge, I think right away of Hieronymus Bosch. The fridge has nothing to do with the painter, but it might be more well-known for its silent presence in many homes. I am a big fan of the triptych “The Garden of Earthly Delights” by Hieronymus. Since childhood, I have been fascinated by this birthplace of strange creatures, a masterpiece of human imagination, and the fear of falling off the dogmatic path of Christianity. But we humans never stop. New tools and stories deliver us new creations. My initial idea for this photograph was, what if I combine 600-year-old iconography with the current one of today in a Bosch fridge? Well, look at the result. Creativity and weirdness never stop.
