Words of complaint, built from branches and suspended among the trees, appear as if the forest itself has found a voice. The work imagines nature as a conscious observer of humanity’s actions, asking whether it would protest the rapid transformations humans have imposed on the planet over the past century. Yet the answer remains open. Perhaps the forest is complaining—or perhaps it is simply continuing what nature has always done: adapting, surviving, and evolving through every catastrophe. The photograph leaves us uncertain whether the voices belong to the trees, or to ourselves.
